Yet another of our favorites! Sushi Sapporo is a wonderful blend of contemporary and traditional decor. The fish is always fresh and the wait staff is very good.
SUSHI SAPPORO : Oak Lawn & Cedar Springs - Dallas
March 14th, 2009SUSHI YOKOHAMA : George Bush & Preston - Plano
March 14th, 2009Sushi Yokohama is definitely one of our favorites, and not just because it’s close to home. The atmosphere and the quality dovetail with the service and authenticity of the surroundings to create a wonderful experience!
ASIAN MINT : Central & Forest - Dallas
March 14th, 2009Asian Mint is a really interesting restaurant. The setting is very contemporary, and the fare is a variety of Asian (including sushi) and some Indian (curries, etc). There aren’t many places we’ve been that serve sushi as only part of their menu that we’d recommend. However, Mint is one of them.
GEISHA SUSHI : George Bush & Coit - Plano
March 14th, 2009Geisha is good, but not great. The best thing about it is that they’re open on Sunday, which is actually a really good thing, because most sushi restaurants aren’t. The sushi is good and reasonably fresh, but everything seems franchised: decor, wait staff, chefs, etc. Prices are pretty standard, with rolls in the $5-10 range, and sashimi in the $8-15 range.
